10th Swiss Transport Research Conference
1 - 3 September 2010, Monte Verità
Ladies and gentlemen
We
- that is the organizing committee of STRC - have the pleasure to
announce the call for abstracts for the 2010 Swiss Transportation
Research Conference (strc.ch).
We would like to announce that the
deadline for abstract submission has been extended:
Extended deadline for the submission
is 16 April, 2010.
The purpose of this conference is to act as a forum that brings together Swiss researchers adopting many different approaches to understanding transportation phenomena. As such, the conference hosts topics across a wide spectrum of investigation from research in transportation and land use, logistics and travel behaviour to traffic engineering and environmental impact analysis. Two keynote speakers will give in-depth insight into specific areas of their research. Moreover, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of STRC, an event hosting a special guest will be organized.
In the past the STRC has been an excellent venue to get caught up on the state of transportation research in Switzerland and this year will be no exception. As with other years, the conference will take place at Monte Verita, Ascona (Ticino) at the Centro Stefano Franscini of ETH Zurich: an excellent conference center, and ideal environment in which to get caught up with old friends.

Full
papers (unlimited words) or short papers (max. 5000 words) are due
April 16th, 2010. It is highly recommended to use the predefined style
guidelines (download template: Word,
LaTeX)
to submit the paper (PDF-format) to strc@usi.ch.
The language of paper and presentation at the conference should be in
English. |
